curl -O http://pkgconfig.freedesktop.org/releases/pkg-config-0.28.t= ar.gz
tar xfz pkg-config-0.28.tar.gz
cd pkg-config-0.28

export CC=3D= /usr/bin/cc (for bash)
./configure --prefix=3D/usr/local CC=3D$CC --with-internal-glib
mak= e
sudo make install
./configure --prefix=3D$HOME/someplace/in/my/path CC=3D$CC --with-inte= rnal-glib
