IMLCZO: Made progress on parser scripts for IMLCZO. Project is on track for release 1.1 by June 26th (progress report).

GLTG: Submitted bugfix to get builds deploying, updated explore map popups to use the bin endpoint resulting in much faster load times, deployed the featured watershed accordion. All priority issues are complete for this release, and I'm moving onto issues with "Normal" priority. Also on track for release 1.1 by June 26th.

SeaGrant: Met and reviewed all proposed work for next release and added time estimates for my tasks in Sea Grant 2.1. Time estimates appear to be appropriate for my 10% allocation to the project.

  • test the accuracy of a "decision tree" built using data from the Chicago team

  • After building some "decision trees" using the CNV data from the Chicago team, none of them produced meaningful results.
  • The data being used is comes form 48 subjects and contains 170 features (parameters). It is believed that the lack of meaningful results is related to an excessive number of features (parameters). 
  • The next step is to try a dimensionality reduction technique (Principal Component Analysis).

• NIST - conference calls for NIST tasks effecting software development, reviewed several pull requests, fixed bugs with the charting and log view. Started working on NISTCORE branding plugin and setting up the NISTCORE git repository, went through MAEviz JIRA issues with Jong and closed/moved all issues to Ergo
• CyberSEES - attended GI Venture webinar covering papers and software updates, need to check with Jong to see if there has been much progress besides choosing to move forward with the mockup Brian created

  • Reviewed previous years paper in the same conference, discussed with Kenton about the type and format and decided on giving less emphasis on use cases, so no need to co-ordinate with use case PIs at this point. Also decided to take picture of our own so that GI,EXIF, opencv and ocr extractors can run on it and show the metadata that as an example in the paper.
  • Elasicity (In Progress) - Based on Rui's reports, compiled the first version of the section, did some literature survey for the context of our work, why one would use our module over other existing solution and for future direction, designing some experiments for the paper and SC Poster. Planning on doing the experiments next week.
