LMRCC Water Quality Assessment report
Want to show:
- MAP : All sites on the main stem starting at St. Louis, plus first site on tributaries if possible.
- Parameters and date range, length of record of each parameter at each site
- Frequency of measurements
- By Agency
- List of parameters
- Number of sites that have each parameter
- Sites active in last 5 years; in last 1 year
- MAP: Long term sites only
- CHART: Frequency of measurements (dot plot) for each long term site+parameter
- CHART: with each site and its overall date range
- TABLE: For each parameter, the number of sites with long term data
- TABLE: all parameters and the number of measurements of each
- Break up into Physical; Nutrient; Sediment; Biological; Major metals; Major non-metals Break up into Water Quality; Sediment; Biological data if possible.
Workflow outline
- Get list of sites on main stem
- Downloaded from WQP → HUC 08 ; STORET, ATTAINS, NWIS ; all dates
- Need to add reach starting at St. Louis going south that is outside of HUC 08
- Clipped to Main Stem
- Identify Parameters at each site (done)
- Date range of each parameter
- Length of time series
- Date distribution / frequency of samples of each parameterparameter
- Floating bar chart
- Map sites by organization
- Date range of each parameter
- Downloaded from WQP → HUC 08 ; STORET, ATTAINS, NWIS ; all dates
- Reach out to organizations to ask to verify that most of their data is there and if they have additional sites that are not on the list.
- Once list of sites is complete, filter to get summary of all the organizations "OrganizationFormalName"
- get unique site names for each organization
- plot sites on the map with some information on dates what was collected at the site.
