  5. Not sure if this qualifies as "tech news" or not, but I've found a Google Chrome extension that has been really helpful at keeping tabs on when changes are pushed to one of our applications. It's called Page Monitor. You simply navigate to a page you want to monitor, then click the button to start monitoring that site. I've been using it to keep tabs on any changes to one of our Geodashboard API's.

    The best part about it is that it will show you a diff of what has changed. Here are a couple of screenshots:

    And if you click "view changes" you'll see a highlighted diff. In this screenshot, I can see that a new version of Clowder has been deployed, but I also get notifications when new sensors, streams or datapoints are added one of our API's.
