Project Summary
The goal of the Kurator project is to develop an extensible, open source toolkit for automated and semi-automated workflows to aid biodiversity research using diverse curation services. Kurator will include a graphical user interface designed specifically for managers of natural science collections. It also will deliver data curation components for use by biodiversity researchers employing general-purpose scientific workflow systems or scripting languages to develop pipelines for analyzing ecological, evolutionary, phenological, genomic, and related data.
