Brown Dog (BD) data transformation services, Data Access Proxy(DAP) and Data Tilling Service (DTS), provide data format conversions and metadata extractions functionalities, respectively, through a set of consistent and programmable REST APIs. The BD framework by design is extensible and a user can contribute their tool to it and can be made available for others to use. Under the hood, the BD framework is build on top of Polyglot framework and Clowder framework. The Polyglot framework
