We have a bunch of getting started/build/eclipse setup etc. pages on our Wiki, plus some files in the code base containing instructions on how to get setup.

These are in various stages of disarray, i.e., some make assumptions they should not make, others are just unclear or incomplete.

We need exactly one place which describes how to setup to work on the project. It should assume nothing, i.e., you don't have git, java, scala, nothing.

It should have sub-pages/sections for particulars of:

• windows vs. linux vs mac - there's a specific issue associated with unicode setup for windows at least right now
• eclipse vs Intellij
