Agenda
- Updates on design discussions
- CZO use case development
- Input for new mappings? already discussed in last meeting - making a new widget
- given file url and API - get all these definitions - use that to create new mapping
- Check metadata - all columns are defined and accepted - add mapping
- update existing mapping? from extractor - once it is in place it won't need to be worried about
- User could be required to initiate the mapping - but then we might miss a good mapping - Register mapping
- Daily trigger to run mappings that were used? - a lot of work to have to keep delta
- Eventually - data delete to remove a line? Not sure how to do it ... definite back burner for now
- Tools Catalog
- still need account to track the user submit, use LDAP
- python/flask & mongodb
- a form to submit( and delete the tool), search( show all that is related to ImageJ), list all. Sandeep Puthanveetil Satheesanwill make a wiki

---|---|---|---|
Bing | Shall we deploy the semantic extractor and service? Luigi says yes Bing can create bamboo plan for them - and once they get merged he can deploy The semantic service bamboo plan will be under BrownDog project and semantic extractor bamboo plan under Clowder project | ||
Rob | Planning for https://opensource.ncsa.illinois.edu/jira/browse/BD-2322 Right now these run on our VM servers, we should move them to Nebula. This will require to move the 1TB of data and a reinstall of the pecan/polyglot code. | ||
Yan | right now UI is working - need to check what is saved in DB | ||
Greg | working on deploying the new browndog-testbed site We have a new project brewing at the iSchool, about teaching computational methods for the archives.. It'll involve showing different methodologies hands-on through Jupyter notebooks. I plan to make some examples that employ the BD service to "enhance data with a web service". Shannon asked to show us when it is running - it will be public: working on a customized nbviewer site. | ||
