Users Tab
The Users tab allows the administrator to specify each user's level of access on the server. In release 1.2, the Anonymous role/user is a new role/user that by default is inactive. To active this role, you will need to assign the Anonymous user the Anonymous role and give this role permissions in the Permissions tab. See Configuring Permissions.
Inactive Users
This section contains all accounts that have not been authorized by the administrator. New users that sign up will show up as inactive users until the administrator assigns the user one or more roles. With a new installation of Medici, he default roles are:
- Author
- Viewer
- Reviewer
- Anonymous
- Administrator
Active Users
This is a list of all active registered users and their current roles. The administrator can use this screen to change the roles that a user has.
