Following are some of the requirements needed for Medici 1.1.
Medici Server
Medici Server requires JAVA (both SUN JDK 1.6 and OpenJDK 1.6 have been tested) as well as Servlet container (Tomcat 6.0 has been tested). The installation instructions assume you have a Ubuntu server installed (Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid has been tested).
Medici Extractor
Medici Extractor requires JAVA (both SUN JDK 1.6 and OpenJDK 1.6 have been tested) as well as ImageMagick, FFMPEG and PDF utilities (poppler specifically). The installation instructions assume you have a Ubuntu server installed (Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid has been tested).
Medici Desktop
Medici Desktop requires JAVA (SUN JDK 1.6 has been tested).
