Tupelo is under active development and we welcome feature requests and requests for improvement. If you have such a request, you can submit it to JIRAor contact us at futrelle (at) ncsa.uiuc.edu.

When thinking about requesting an improvement, consider these points:

  • Are we already planning an equivalent improvement or new feature? Check here and search in project "Tupelo" and issue type of both "Improvement" and "New Feature".
  • What should this feature do?
  • What component(s) of Tupelo does this affect?
  • How will this help you? For instance, will it save time, replace workarounds, extend existing capabilities or introduce new ones?
  • How urgent is this? If it is urgent, please explain why. If it is preventing you from using Tupelo effectively please mark the request as "Blocking" in JIRA and/or contact us directly at futrelle (at) ncsa.uiuc.edu.

Generally, feature requests are not acted upon immediately but are scheduled for inclusion in specific Tupelo releases.
