Next steps
- All: Please review and provide any further comments on the document by 9/26.
- Working group leads:
- Contact your internal & any external members to confirm their interest in participating & get feedback on the document by 9/26. Please cc Barbara so she can update the preproposal as needed.
- Need 1-2 sentences each for intellectual merit & broader impacts, with 1-2 key references to support them, also by 9/26.
- Bill will contact Applied Research Institute to see if they are interested in taking the lead on technology transfer & corporate partners (Bill, please have a look at the new text I added on knowledge transfer and see edit as needed before sending to ARI).
- Barbara will contact Lizanne DeStefano at ISTEM to see if she's interested in taking the lead on assessment & education research
- Barbara will meet with Gabrielle Allen & Jong to discuss cyberinfrastructure partners
- Barbara will meet with Engineering Associate Dean for Research Jen Bernhard to get her advice on the draft preproposal
- Barbara will contact major external partners tomorrow (Friday) to determine interest in participating. Please let me know today if you have concerns with any of those listed or other people you'd like to work with at those institutions (need contacts in Puerto Rico in particular).
