Goals - Technical Meeting

  • 1st Friday of Month will be webinar open to anyone with the link (will be on the Clowder main website).

    Other 3 weeks will be technical meeting for developers to discuss code, planning, etc.

  • Will start inviting more people - and we can send link to people on individual basis for invitation
  • CSSI - we now have some funding to pay for hardening of Clowder outside of work done by project specific work

Released 1.7.2 - might have been part of last week's meeting update

Rob asking Sandeep to look at a PR that puts fixes back into development - so dev is up to date with master

Working on removing some of the constraints to have keep running under Mongo 3.4 - once that is fixed we can run under 3.6

    • 10 mins - What these meetings are for 
    • New Search capabilities and interfaces Maxwell Burnette

    • Everyone should forward it on to their collaborators
  • Sphinx documentation is live but it needs contributions. Please contribute a paragraph here and there.

  • Let's have a hackathon on documentation!
  • Will demo and get feedback on mobile app next Friday
    • When they first sat down with users they were pushing for a lot of big features. Like making a lab notebook. But for now he will focus on images.

  • Let's have monthly hackathon. Need to have topics for each hackathon.
  • PR WIP to support Mongo 3.6 (it might even work with 4). Please help test it with your instance. Will push PR soon.

  • There is a ticket in SYN that has a list of things we should change. Will make a wiki page. Could be a hackathon topic.
