Develop a tool/algorithm to standardize approaches to calculate nutrient load conditions and trends - to supplement sentinel sites( as a prelude to senitinel site analysis)
- Due by 11/30/20 ( really need earlier to use on sentinel sites)
- nutrient load tend analysis tool - work with McIssac - this is finalizing it
- need nod of approval from USGS and EPA - is this doable? acceptance of datadiscuss with USGS/EPA/HTF workgroup to conform metrics to track and how to calculate - first call week of 11/18/19
- need it because of different data / different sensors - data gap between sensors
- dealing with incomplete data
- using Greg's work to fill gaps
- Only pick sentinel sites with enough data - 1 site per state commitment
- criteria for picking sentinel sites
- Need drop dead date for data from sites/states so we can incorporate - send us data by May 1
- Sites need identified by 11/2020
- when do we need criteria? Need scientists to get together to decide - NCSA needs minimum req to tell state what we require - Feb 1,2020 - (we have ready by Dec 30)
- gap
Develop Sentinel Site Approach
- Develop criteria for sentinel sites
- internal list to discuss with EPA by 11/13/19; call with EPA to compare to their needs week of 11/18/19

- Sites need to identified by 5/1/20; final sites selected by 11/2020
Sentinel Sites Approved and active - 4/30/21
- HTF website list all sentinel sits and current water quality data from those sites
- presentation at state meetings to validate to report
Develop Dashboard for sentinel sites by 4/30/2021
...
- 3 states use the GLTG water quality tracking dashboards - post/go live/ put on web site
- IL ARK and MO
States ID Sentinel Sites - 11/30/2020
- Each one choose 1
Sentinel Sites Approved and active - 4/30/21
