Proposing this converter as an example container for the db-preservation-toolkit, see https://github.com/keeps/db-preservation-toolkit

The container would have to have Access running along with the toolkit, which will extract the data and exhaustive metadata from running Access and package it in SIARD2 format, an XML.

Access is just an example of one of the more proprietary formats the db-preservation-toolkit can work with. In every case the kit must connect to the running DB to gather all the system metadata. In that way it is a good exemplar for the diverse VMs environment of Brown Dog.

I have a new contact at Keep.IT in Portugal, that developed this kit.
