The first workshop will bring together domain scientists within the three use cases as well as other potential users of the Brown Dog Cyberinfrastructure. The workshop will focus on describing the constituent components (i.e. Software Servers, Medici, Versus), the Brown Dog vision (i.e. the DAP and DTS), presentations from the use case domain scientists regarding their needs, and serve as a venue for gathering information on user needs in terms of data collections, file formats, software used, and analysis tools.
