Users are converting the DFDL infoset to JDOM or w3c. DOM trees just so they can issue simple XPath expressions against the infoset.

In many cases a DPath expression on the original Daffodil infoset would work fine, and would save a complete traversal and copy of the infoset.

So we should support DPath expressions on the result infoset via our Java and Scala APIs.
