Object display
- Use standard map color schemes for roads
- Dashed circles inside & outside showing standard deviation linked to the desired confidence interval
- Allow point-wise quantities in 2D
- Display hollow damage bar and show transparent polygon slicing through bar at expected value with standard deviation values. Color code values red if outside bounds of what is displayed.
- Add box that allows users to specify confidence range and adjust results accordingly. NOTE: Junho's examples show how to calculate
- Plot expected values and standard deviations that are tied to spatial data (ie. GeoDA)
- 2D - consider size vs. color to show relative importance (expected value, etc.) of a quantity.
- Make the overlap of adjacent points clear (size & color or size & transparency)
- Cartograms when displaying census track data
