When jonglee was doing the demo for EPA / USGS
He had the detail box open for one sensor

Then he enabled a hypoxia layer - and the map stayed focused on the detail box and did not re-center on the Gulf

This is how the original functionality was written.

The box stays open until it is closed by clicking the X or clicking on the map

Questions for team:

• Do we want the detail box to disappear when X, click on map OR new input selected?
• A layer actually applies over the whole map - if you are at zoom level where the Gulf is not in your view the GUI does not refocus on the Gulf when you choose a Hypoxia layer - do we need to configure priority zoom settings for layers?

Once this is investigated - at least two new tasks will need created
