We need to store data for various projects. Considerations:

• It needs to be live (think web accessible potentially)
• Its cost needs to be justifiable per project (should be as close as possible to the cost of the hardware)
• Don't need GPFS (cost of it is not justifiable for our needs)
• Attached compute is a good thing (e.g. buying a server and using its CPUs for VM hosting)
