Curate Citations
Researchers have lists of citations in various reference management software formats. These citation may or may not be complete or accurate.
Biodiversity databases often contain citations of type and figured specimens. These are often incomplete. Typical forms include just book/monography/journal name, author name, year, and cited on page, missing the full page range of a cited work and for serial works often missing the article level title of the cited work.
Data quality control of citations seems to fall within the remit of Kurator (both as a broader impact and specifically for validating information of nomenclatural concern in biodiversity databases).
