To duplicate:

Open MAEviz
Create a scenario earthquake without expanding the Saved Use Case folder
Close the scenario earthquake analysis view
Expand the Saved Use Case folder and all you see is ncsa.analysis.types.UseCase

and any operations on that give an exception.

If you have the Saved Use Case expanded, it seems to work without issue.
