A user not being authorized to use the desktop client looks exactly the same as an incorrect username/password because an exception is caught and a dialog is displayed saying that the information entered is not correct, try again. When in fact the problem is their account may just not have permission to use the desktop client. We should do better error catching so we can determine if it's a U/P problem or a not authorized problem so the user can request desktop client access if they are just not authorized.
