After uploading an image or video there is no way for the user to know what is happening next.

As a user: Is it extracting? for how long? Can i click away to another page?

As an admin:
do I need to throw mores cores or ram at it? should I distribute it? all questions that I need to know by seeing how fast it's extracting the data and processing it.
