unless you have an especially high-resolution display, the grid view always runs off the page, meaning you need to scroll to see all images before paging. every time. which is a real usability problem.

reducing the number of rows would solve this problem, and maybe set a target for how tall the page should get for paging views, like 1024px max or something.
