Use case: A developer (user) wants to deploy an instance of the DataVerse system.This is in support of the DataVerse example (https://opensource.ncsa.illinois.edu/confluence/display/NDS/Dataverse+Examples).

This task entails:

• Containerization of DataVerse (http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/index.html)
• Possible re-use of existing Docker container (https://github.com/bencomp/dataverse-docker)
• Support for Docker and Kubernetes

Outcome:

• A set of docker images, Kubernetes config (pods/rc/services) that enable the user to quickly launch a working DataVerse instance
• Documentation of integration points (e.g., required/optional components)
• Instructions for overriding common configuration options (e.g., themes, optional features)
• This task will contribute to the growing notion of a charm-like metadata format to facilitate different compositions of tools via NDS Labs (documentation/requirements)
• Unit testing, automated or through written test cases
