Basic/Advanced Configuration in wizard feels awkward

XMLWordPrintableJSON

As the end-user of NDS Labs, I should be provided with a way to customize the configuration of any services I choose to add to new or existing stacks. This includes, but is not limited to, user names, passwords, host names/ip addresses, data paths, etc.

While the current wizard page performs this function, it feels a bit cluttered when many services allow for such configuration.

Options might include one or more of the following:

      • Only display one service to configure at a time, hiding the others behind a selector (drop-down, radio buttons, pager, or something similar)
      • Add a "Choose Defaults" button could to generate any/all passwords at once and save mouse clicks
      • Pull the Basic/Advanced show/hide toggle to the bottom of the wizard page

This story is complete when the user can enter their configuration without becoming confused or overwhelmed by the layout.
