The API server currently uses hostPath for storage, assuming all volumes are in a single path specified by VolumesDir. Now that we're using the shared Gluster FS, it would be good to store volumes in per-namespace subdirectories.

This task encompasses changes to the API server to store hostPath volumes in namespace-specific subdirectories. Optionally, it might include changing the volume UID to include the service name.
