An annoyingly common problem that I'm sure we have all seen

Steps to reproduce:

1. Sign into Labs Workbench UI
2. Wait and hour (for JWT to expire)
   • Do not use/navigate the Labs Workbench UI at all during this time
3. Refresh the page
   • It will look like you are logged in, but your token has already expired

Expected behavior:

• The UI should check the user's token (stored as a cookie) immediately following a page refresh

Actual behavior:

• This logic appears to be either broken or missing
• Navigating forces a token check that bounces you back to the Landing Page (as it should)

This ticket is complete when the user's token is correctly checked after a page refresh.
