We know we have problems with Docker logs in long-running containers. We need to define/implement a strategy for log rotation or truncation either via Docker or Kubernetes.

Figure out the best solution and if possible implement in ndslabs-startup and deploy-tools. (Best effort task)

docker ps | grep nginx-ingress

# get container ID

su -

cd /var/lib/docker/containers/containerId*

# File containerid-json.log 

Either through rotation or truncation, confirm that the log is rotated or truncated.

Completion criteria:

• Confluence page documenting the options and decisions
• Review meeting with the team to discuss
• Implement ndslabs-startup and deploy-tools repos (PRs)
