Improvements are needed in several areas:
-right now we have a timeline view of metadata additions, which should be kept but make some improvements to the display (e.g. get rid of some white space)
-we should have a view of the metadata that is field by field in the same order as the fields are in the selection drop down. This should be the prioritized view in the interface (rather than the history/timeline view)
-if a user has already entered a value for a particular metadata field, they shouldn't have the option of adding it again. Instead they should edit the existing one (or delete it). However the history of changes would still appear in the timeline view of metadata
