The commend line given in the configuration file missed the
sudo and sudo -sh c "sed ....." to pass the permission denied warning.

Furthermore
The command line used for mySQL installation should update to

apt-get -qq -y install mysql-server-5.3

not

apt-get -qq -y install mysql-server-5.1

There is trivial things, but helpful for new comers to follow the instruction easily.
