One thing that we don't want data curators to do is edit ORE files directly. We would like to see examples of work that has provided user interfaces in the e-research and data curation environment. Jane Hunter (U Queensland in Australia) did in her e-Research program on tools for creating and editing ORE maps. One tool known as LORE might be helpful as a short term fix for editing the metadata properties and relationships for SEAD resources (or if it does not integrate easily in SEAD context right now, maybe the source code for the plug in might be helpful). In any event, take a look at the demo of LORE for ORE (see: http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/eresearch/projects/aus-e-lit/lore)
