Once a file has been uploaded to a dataset through the "Add files to a dataset page," nothing happens when you select "delete file" or "delete selected. When I say "nothing happens," I mean that the file is not deleted. In addition, when you select delete, you're not prompted as to whether or not you really want to delete it, and you don't get confirmation that it was deleted. Basically, you click delete and literally nothing happens.
