Currently initialize and destroy are not implemented for HashFileContext.

• initialize should create the directory (and check that it is valid, etc.)

• destroy should remove the contents of the directory then (possibly?) remove the directory.

• open should return false if the directory does not exist.

• close should do nothing, really.
