Clowder follows a typical open source governance model with a group of committers having final say to what ends up in the master/develop branches and a BDFL with final say on disputes and arguments within the community.

The following roles exist:

  • Benevolent Dictator for Life (BDFL)
    • Retains the final say in disputes or arguments within the community. Manages releases. Helps set long term direction.
  • Committer
    • Has write permission to develop and master branch. Knows the code very well and has made substantial contributions to the project. Committers vote on whether a contributor can become a committer.
  • Contributor
    • Has made contributions to the project. See CONTRIBUTING.md to learn how to become one.

Current list of active members follows. Full list available in CONTRIBUTORS.md.
