From NDS-785, we discovered that Kubernetes' notion of PersistentVolumeClaims worked well for using GlusterFS on public clouds.
We still need to explore:
- what to do when gluster servers restart (how to eleganty recreate / restart the volume)
- how to expand to add more bricks / storage when needed
This ticket is complete when we have explored the above cases, and have a rudimentary strategy for how we plan to handle them.
